Sharepoint List - Person or Group Type
Hi I have a Person or group field in a SharePoint list (SharePoint Online 365) that allows more than one selection. After selecting the Person's these then automatically sort into alphabetical order, can this be stopping so they stay in the order I selected them?
It never used to do this and has just started the last month.
I can't use SharePoint editor so hoping this can be done in the settings or by JSON.

Thanks for reviewing this, I've found an odd solution by accident, for some reason the issue has nothing to do with SharePoint but the notebook I was using, I've opened the list on my personal notebook at home and re-entered the names and they stay in the order I enter them, I go back to my work notebook and if I enter a new name, it sorts alphabetically, same browser on both notebooks so odd, but at least I have a solution.
- I just tested this as as mentioned by the other reply, the selections stayed in the order as selected, they did not get sorted A-Z on save.
Maybe create a Dev tenant or even a new site collection to see if you can replicate this "normal" behaviour and then go to Microsoft support and ask what is the difference.- Hi Warwick,

- I can't duplicate that - is there already JSON in the list? Honestly, that would be a great feature to toggle in the column settings. I tried in grid view and in the form. Is this happening on all lists or just this one?
