SharePoint List - Count Between Dates with an Exception

Hi everybody!

I'm attempting to create a SharePoint List column that counts how many days since creation (checkout date), however I want the column to stop calculating once an end date (return date) has been input. Basically I'm using this functionality to show how long an item has been checked out.

I'm currently using this formula for the DAYS OUT column: =TODAY()-Created
