Sharepoint Library showing unassigned (but blank) option.

Hello

 

I have had an issue where the sharepoint document library is showing unassigned for two different categories in the main library view despite the fact that there are NO FILES that meet that criteria. I tried modifying the view to not show any items that are unassigned but they still show up. 

 

Has anyone else experienced this before?

    We recently had the same experience, after a user suddenly canceled an upload of a document.
    It disappeared mysteriously after 1 day.
    However, I did find a resource which could be useful if it wouldn't be solved within 1 day: https://www.sharepointdiary.com/2017/02/sharepoint-online-delete-file-from-document-library-using-powershell.html
    The best is to delete by means of ID. (In SharePoint, you can get the ID with action 'export to Excel' : there you can see ID + name of the item)
