SharePoint Library - Invisibile Metadata
Hi All,
Strange issue I'm running into on a library
Left is my Admin profile where files are grouped by WF Year (metadata column)
Right is a couple users with the issue where its showing Unassigned due to blank Year and Month
I've exported the data from both accounts and both have the Year and Month
Tried going to Properties on User account and the Year field appears like this
...very strange, any help would be appreciated :)

We fixed it by restoring permission inheritance on ..Lists/TaxonomyHiddenList, so it now inherits permissions from the parent site.
According to Microsoft documentation, this list is supposed to automatically inherit permissions from the site. I don't know how it ended up with unique permissions configured and with no permissions assigned. The logs in Purview also don't give any hint.
I'm having the same issue. Only happening on our Communications site (not other Team sites). Happening for members, visitors and owners but as soon as I add someone as site admin the issue goes away. I've logged a support case with MS but haven't had much luck so far (was on the phone for an hour). Will keep you posted.
I'm having the same problem. Admin profile fine but end users not seeing metadata. Thought it might be fixed over the weekend.
