SharePoint Landing Page

Good Day

 

The office 365 SharePoint landing page _layouts/15/sharepoint.aspx has a section called Saved.  We can see news articles and modern pages that we Save/Favorite listed under this so called Saved section. In the past we could also Save/Favorite documents but not sure this is something we can do still do.  Was doing some testing in clicking the favorite icon/link on files via Delve hoping those new favorite files will show up in the Saved section of the SharePoint Landing Page.  Does anyone know if we can no longer see files marked as favorite in the SharePoint Landing page (saved section)?  Will only modern pages and news articles show up now going forward?  Thanks

    Hello Juan M Baena,

     

    The Saved feature seems like it is limited to news. More information can be found on the SharePoint blog.

     

    You can use the Featured links feature for highlighting sites, documents etc.

      No, it's not limited to news...it's also available to documents, but documents you mark as Saved for later in the SharePoint Mobile App...what's it's not clear to me is why we cannot also do the same in the regular SPO user interface
