SharePoint item level permissions

Rob_Elliott Thanks for sharing this, I have already checked this and it doesn't serve the purpose. It works only when people are creating the items.
In my case I already have inputs in an excel sheet, the same excel sheet contains the email addresses as well of the users. I have added that excel as a list. Now, I want these people to access the list and they should only be able to see the line items which has their email address/ID.

AvishekR825 you would just need to change the trigger to "for a selected item" or to "when an item or a file is modified" trigger.
