SharePoint iOS App - Site theme look and feel not consistant with browser or Android

We have noticed that when viewing SharePoint sites in the SharePoint iOS app it comes up with random colors for the header that do not match the look and feel of the way the site was set up e.g bright pink or bright purple. This is particularly looks bad when it is a communication site that is showing company news and it is bright pink!

 

I have contacted Microsoft Support and have been told by support that it is 'by design' and they cannot do anything. I have also seen that I am not alone and as it has been raised on Uservoice too. Although there does not seem to be many people with this issue.

 

Is any one else experiencing this and can you upvote on user voice?
