SharePoint: Improvements for document library version history limits

Hi,

In the Microsoft 365 roadmap, there was a feature(ID: 145802) about improvements in document library version. As part of the upcoming change, there will be 2 options.

1. Automatic

2. Manual

It was also mentioned that the preview would be available November 2023. I wanted to know more about the feature so is there any update on this option availability?
