Sharepoint folder permanent link

Hello community, I have recently turned on documents id in SharePoint so I can share files and keep links alive event if the file is moved or  renamed. 

 

But what about folders? I can't see any fixed ID I can use to link a folder. 

 

Is there a way how to keep folders links alive and permanent? Like we can do with document ids?

    Hello,

    Only documents are supported with doc id. If you want to migrate a folder to a different site, then the documents will still be accessible, but if you have links to folder areas. Then the links to the folders need to be updated.

    The folder path is only relevant if you have quick links to the specific folders. There is currently no support for folder id.
