SharePoint folder is in two locations on local machine creating sync conflicts

    I was able to get it fixed with advice received from the other community forum.

    Generally, what you proposed was the solution.
    First stop of sync, then delete then re-establish the sync again.

can you stop the synchronization on local, delete the connection and try to sync again?
