Sharepoint Extended layout option

I used 'Extended Layout' option earlier in my website but it suddenly disappeared from the site. And also not available while developing new website/portals.

Now I only get 2 options i.e. 'Standard' and 'Compact' options only under
Settings -> Change the look -> Header -> Layout option.

What can be the problem? Am I missing any configuration? (Pasted screenshot below)
