SharePoint and O365 groups
An existing Office 365 group: Marketing. – in that group resides a user (among others): Obama
Created an SPO Team site: ‘Advertising’ (Office 365 group also created)
(SP) Advertising Owners - (and within the Advertising 0365 owner group )
(SP) Advertising Members - (and within the Advertising 0365 members group)
(SP) Advertising Visitors (empty)
I created a new document library – stopped the inheritance on the library (so unique permission) and the 3 SP groups are still listed
I then grant permission to the Marketing O365 group on that library – and send the direct link to Obama – however, he only gets the page where he can “Request access”.
Is it not possible to grant (direct) access on a Doc library to another O365 group in a Groupified SharePoint Site?
Taen keren here are the permissions for my document library:
The highlighted group gets access denied on the site but can access the document library.
How do your document library permissions look?

Hi Taen keren,
I can confirm the same behavior. Navigating the document library directly does work.
I hope this helps.

Norman Young - any solution? - so the user doesn't see the "request access" but goes straight into the doc library?
Taen keren can you provide a URL to the document library directly? Quick Links web part on a site page could be a reasonable user experience.
