Taen keren here are the permissions for my document library:
The highlighted group gets access denied on the site but can access the document library.
How do your document library permissions look?

Norman Young - any solution? - so the user doesn't see the "request access" but goes straight into the doc library?
Taen keren can you provide a URL to the document library directly? Quick Links web part on a site page could be a reasonable user experience.

Norman Young - not quite following?
Its the Site owner that adds an extra Doc library which has uniquie permisssions as he/she wants to share the content of the library with the marketing - and he/she then sends out the direct link to the library
If site owner inputs a user directly Obama (and not the marketing group) and send the link - the user doesn't get the "request access"

I understand. I would add a direct link from the Marketing site to Advertising document library.

Norman Young - not an option - the site owner wants to send out a link to the O365 group - so why is this link on Marketing different from sending out a link?
