SharePoint 404 Error ⚠️

I now have two SharePoint sites that have disappeared. The sites still show on the dash as an option, yet when selected results in a 404 error. Not in the recycle bend; it's as though the sites never existed. I really need these sites restored if possible. Help!

    It is  unlikely someone has deleted the homepage but try navigating to this URL -  <site URL>/_layouts/15/viewlsts.aspx?view=14 to see if the site still exists. I have seen a 404 when the site homepage has been deleted.

    You will need to raise a ticket for this in the Office 365 admin centre. Microsoft support don't provide support through these forums.

It is  unlikely someone has deleted the homepage but try navigating to this URL -  <site URL>/_layouts/15/viewlsts.aspx?view=14 to see if the site still exists. I have seen a 404 when the site homepage has been deleted.
