SharePoint 404 Error ⚠️
I now have two SharePoint sites that have disappeared. The sites still show on the dash as an option, yet when selected results in a 404 error. Not in the recycle bend; it's as though the sites never ...
It is unlikely someone has deleted the homepage but try navigating to this URL - <site URL>/_layouts/15/viewlsts.aspx?view=14 to see if the site still exists. I have seen a 404 when the site homepage has been deleted.
