SharePoint 2013: Can I turn off spell-check because my HTML and CSS code get messed up

Hi there! Hopefully you can help me. I wrote some code for a navigation menu and I want to publish it, but when I try to publish my code I get an error that says "spelling errors found" and then my code becomes messed up with some weird <span> tags and lots of "msrtgenerate skip" references.

Is there a way to fix this?
