SharePoint 2010 WebParts Compatibility in SharePoint Online
Hi
We are planning to migrate a set of SharePoint 2010 farm sites to SharePoint Online Classic experience (instead Modern experience). Would like to know what are the SP 2010 OOTB WebParts which will be compatible with SP Online Classic if we migrate using a tool like Metalogix/Sharegate/etc?
Note: We already assume the compatibility on SP Online modern experience could be very low.

- Well, basically any legacy SP 2010 WebPart that is not available Today in SPO wan't be available for your migrated sites. I don't recall to see a comprehensive list of which SP 2010 WebParts are still in SPO, but I would not be certainly very optimistics and start thinking on a plan to replace those WebParts for other SPO WebParts that end producing same results.
Sharegate / Metalogix should help to identify issues in the migration and there is also a tool provided by Microsoft that can help here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepointmigration/overview-of-the-sharepoint-migration-assessment-tool- Thanks for the feedback Juan. Understood that there "might" not be any SP 2010 WebParts migrate as-is to SP Online.
To think your suggestion: Is there a list of "compatible" SP Online web parts for each SP 2010 web parts? For example, Summary Links Web Part in 2010 can be replaced by SP Online Links web part correct, although SP 2010 web part "might" not migrated to SP Online as-is.
Note: We have started checking SMAT reports as well which provide good indicator of what will not migrate (or what will have problems even migrated). Since there are a lot of sites and to do consolidation to come up with conclusions from our end, wanted to know if community already has these information.
