SharePiont Search Library by folder keyword
Hello,
I am looking for the search options that I can default the search features wildcard, without **. We are using SharePoint online. Currently are format is CompanyName -18(year)-04(Month)30(day)-03(count of today). Our users do search by the numbers 18-0430-03 and we are not getting results. Am I missing a setting?? This is happening when we search in the actual SharePoint site and when we are in the Library folder.

- SharePoint will treat the hyphenation as a word sperator in the URL so won't include that entire string. You will need to store the value in another column and add it to the search schema as a refinablestringxx to make it searchable.

Thank you for your responds. I am very new to sharePoint. How would I do that?? I created a new Column for the numbers, how would I create a workflow that will move the numbers over??
