Jan 26, 2018Shared with Link user used wrong account
We have a user that forwards their email to a different service(don't get me started). The shared with link for SharePoint was sent to their Office 365 account but.....they opened it with their gmail account(see the forward). The link has been shared with numerous people so I do not want to have to recreate the link, is there any way we can remove the bad account and start over for this specific user? It is easier when you share to specific accounts, could just remove it. The links are a little tricky. Any insight would be awesome!

- AnonymousAre you talking about a guest link? Or a specific person link? Because if it's a guest link it shouldn't matter who opens the link it doesn't track it, unless your logged into 365 at the time of clicking the link.
Guess I'm a little confused as to the issue, are they showing up somewhere form the wrong account or something?- Anonymous
They used the Only our Organization link.
- AnonymousStill confused, because it shouldn't matter where they click the link, they will be prompted to login to Office 365 when trying to access that link, and they need to login with their proper credentials of that org. If they are getting that usual "This user bla bla bla not in the domain" error. You got to make sure they log out of 365 from that message. Hope this makes sense.
