Saving Sharepoint but NOT as a Subsite

Hello Community, 

I was wondering if there was a way to save a sharepoint site via Saved Template method, but keep it separate from its parent. Rather than saving it as a subsite of the parent, I want it to be an exact copy (Similar to when you create a new Site).
