Result Types for Modern Search
Is there a way to add a Result Type to the modern search? I think it works great, but I want to be able to use something akin to a "refiner" that we have in the search center. Also, I do not have a link to the search center available from the modern search page, is this normal?

Thank you for the response. I want to move toward the Modern approach, which seems to be O365 Groups for collaboration and SharePoint for records management, but not being able to configure the modern "Global" search is a serious drawback for this kind of approach. Is there any way to push a search query from the ootb upper left search box straight to the Search Center?
