Recent activity feature in list and library
- Jan 26, 2019For sure it does not display what has happened to the item/document for a year...I would say it shows last actions on it and the time period is limited to your tenant subscription...for an E3 / Business / Premium I would bet 90 days and for E5 180 days - 1 year
Hi kevingeorget,
The doc is a little out of date (note to self to fix :) ) but if you're talking about the activity feed (same type of info but a new look and some new activities), then it will only persist for 60 days in all cases. Hope that helps! Thanks!

StephenRice Is there an API endpoint or equivalent to this activity feed, or something parsable (e.g. RSS or Odata) in Power Query? I'd like to use this in Excel and Power BI.

Hi Olivier Travers,
We do have a Graph API for activity that you can find details on here:
Hope that helps!

StephenRice it does help, thank you very much. Graph is a mammoth API and I missed it while browsing Graph Explorer!
I get an error 401 even though I granted the required permissions for the call. I know that this is not the place to seek technical support, but I'll just vent that UnknownError - "None of the approved scopes were found" is not super helpful.
I see in the documentation that "Activities is in a limited Preview and not yet available to all tenants." I'm not sure whether the fact it is listed in Graph Explorer (after logging in) is an indication that the API call is actually available in that tenant.
Would the following forum be the best place to investigate this further?
