Sync, Export to Excel, and view dropdown missing on document library webpart on page for some users
Does your tenant have first release for selected users? Usually this released webparts and newer UI builds to those users / groups if you do. This web part definitely looks like the updated one with the more populated toolbar.
All our users are on First release...I'll just keep an eye on in the next week..
might be part of this feature, like mentioned:
- Document library and lists web parts updates – It’s even easier to engage with documents and lists on a modern page with tile view and drag and drop upload. Now with custom views, grouping, sorting, filtering, column formatting, and drag & drop upload.
Not sure how long it takes to push out feature release, but this issue still exists. I tried re-installing OneDrive, but that didn't fix it, I don't think it would be dependant on Windows Version, etc.. for kicks and giggles, I reset IE cache, etc...
but, it is 5 days later and still an issue. I am 0365 admin, and all users are on targeted release, so still scratching my head. Does anybody else NOT see the Sync and Export to excel on document library webpart on page?
- Yeah I don't. And I recommend not using that webpart in production environment for awhile while it's in preview. Just saying :).
Good news is I am finally able to see the Sync and Export to Excel buttons on my doc library webpart as well as view dropdown
Crazy that it took 2 weeks to 'push out feature' A few users saw it 2 weeks ago and I and another user didn't see it until today
