Missing sites under Destinations when I try to move or copy files in modern library
- Feb 15, 2019
Jan Andreas Knudsen I don't believe there is another way except to "Follow" the site prior to the copy / move operations.

LisaJo48 I was able to use a workaround. Still annoying as I had to re-enable the user and login as them via SharePoint, but I navigated to the folder I wanted to move content to and "Added as a Shortcut" to the user's OneDrive. Then when I chose "Move To" I clicked the shortcut of the root drive (or exact location) and moved them there. The shortcut brought me right to where was needed, which was not showing up in the recents or "show more".
Hope this helps!

Not sure when it came into being, but we had this issue and we just noticed that within a SP document library, there is an option in the menu bar at the top "Pin to Quick access"
Doing this does, indeed, pin the library to the Quick Access sidebar when the move is instigated!
Were we just missing this all along or is it a new feature?- Leen Van ImmerseelFeb 08, 2023Copper Contributor
The "Pin to Quick Access" did the trick, thanks for the tip Bert_Hindle
- Peter_MalakhovJun 12, 2022Copper ContributorWhoa James, that is the only solution that worked for me. Thanks so much! Cannot imagine MS knows about this problem and cannot do anything - What a shame! They should at least add a workaround to their KB: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/move-or-copy-files-in-sharepoint-00e2f483-4df3-46be-a861-1f5f0c1a87bc
