Random External Users unable to open in Word
In SharePoint when sharing document libraries with external users we have been experiencing instances where the user is able to get in and edit documents in Word initially, but when they go back in later the option is no longer available. Has anyone experienced this and/or know of a solution.

- Probably because they are using anyone access links? Sometimes if you already have a login token in browser cache you will access as an authenticated user and be able to use word, if you click it without this logged in credential you go in as an anonymous user and won't have the option to edit in word.
Just a hunch.
