Pubilish new version with comment as mandatory field

Hello everyone, I am new by working with SharePoint. Is it possible, to publish a new major version of the commentary field als duty? Regards Stefan

samrein1973 I don't think it is possible to make comments field as a mandatory field.

Comments field while publishing new version is optional field in SharePoint by default.
