Problem with the Date when uploaded into a list

Hi,

I have been trying to create a list using excel on my Sharepoint, but I am facing trouble with the Date column I have in my excel file. In the file the Date is April 20 but when the list upload is done, the date changes to April 19. I am not sure what to do in this case.
