Power Apps-customized form access by external users
Power Apps-customized form access by external users
I have a document library in SharePoin online. I have created a Power Apps-customized form for the metadata columns. When a folder or a file in this document library is shared (through the share option, next to file or folder) with external users they cannot open the Power Apps-customized form.
A message of “Sign in required” is appearing.
Do they need to have Powerapps license ? Do I need to make any other change in order for external users to be able to access the Power Apps-customized form ?
Can someone help, please?

Hi atagios they will need to be licensed, either in their home tenant Share a canvas app with guest users (contains video) - Power Apps | Microsoft Learn or by your org A Fool-Proof Way To Share Power Apps With External Users (matthewdevaney.com)
Hope that helps!

Thaks for your answer, I tolly agree that for a Power App the externals must have a license.
But for a customized form in SharePoint it is a bit confusing for me, because as it is https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/canvas-apps/share-app-guests#can-guests-access-customized-forms-in-sharepoint that you also point out, it seems that if no premium connector is used in the customized form, then no license is needed (if I understand it correctly?) .
I do not know if a setting is needed in Azure AD (for the externals) or if my understanding of licensing is wrong….
hmmm.....what are the permissions for the List and the site? Are guests required to log in to access the site or is it open to anyone? Are they already registered guests in your tenant?
