Potential bug - When creating a library cannot add spaces when naming it
Tried on 2 tenants and 2 different accounts and in all situations I cannot add spaces to Libraries when creating them. Anyone getting the same?

pcostarg I don't think this is a bug, I think it's Microsoft correcting an issue that we've had for years where if you add a space in the name it puts %20 into the url where the space is which has always looked horrible. What seems to be happening now is that when you create a library name with spaces it just strips out the space and makes the name all one word. This is much better. OK, it means you have to change the title of the library in Library Settings to bring back the space so it looks OK in the library (a 10 second job) but the overall impact on the url is a major improvement.

- pcostargMay 26, 2022Copper ContributorThis is the worst way possible to remove spaces from an URL. And though it might look ugly and not friendly for a programmer it is usable. It would be as easy has url += Name.Replace(" ", string.Empty)...
This way they are removing user functionality. It is Ugly for end user FinancialReports2022...and not every end user knows you can rename a library (URL does not change)
I think it is bug. Just wanted to know if this was happening to more people.- RobElliottMay 26, 2022Silver ContributorI disagree; removing the ever-so-ugly %20 is a big improvement.
