Permissions question about syncing documents

Hi,

I have a library with some permissions in it. Read and Edit persmission are applyed to the library. For the Edit permission evrything is fine but it comes to the Read is where the problems begins.

Our customer wants that the Read persmission also have the possibility of Sync the documents with One Drive. Out of the box its seems that the read permission doesn't allow syncing docs and in some places it stay that if Imake a copy of the Read permission and I activate the open object options, syncing should work. But is not my case, syncing still ot appearing for the user with this new permission level applied.

What more I should activate?
