Old view on shared pictures library

Hello

I have shared a single library with and view only group.

When I do this the user can only see the library in the "old" style, but if i share the rest of the site, they can see the "new" style of the library.

Is there any settings or sharing alternatives that can fix this or is this expected behaviour?
