News Widget Updating in Microsoft Teams

Our team is developing a Knowledge Management System using Modern SharePoint. We have linked the News widget to our Teams Channel.

 

Despite following the steps outlined on https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/add-team-site-news-in-a-teams-channel-743607c0-9510-414b-8aab-1ae9ef5d3f49, none of the News updates we post in SharePoint populate in Teams. Has anyone had a similar problem, and if so, how did they get around it?

    PattyBowen I just use a JSON-formatted button in the Site Pages library to trigger a flow in Power Automate that posts the news item to the Teams channel. That way I can easily control which news items or pages get posted in Teams.
