New "Modern" Publishing Sites Rollout?
I manage several tenants. Some on Early Release and some Standard. I haven't seen the new "Modern" Publishing sites on any yet and am about to launch a new intranet and would like to use this new feature.
Any way to get a better sense of when this might be available?

Any news on this? I am in the same situation but now we are 6 months after Ignite demos. Are we close to seeing Modern Publishing Sites? I would LOVE to use those for my clients new Intranet but launching soon..
I am beginning to wonder if Microsoft is abandoning the Pubhlishing sites. It would have seemed News would have been a natural to come to publishing sites first, but it appears on team sites. There has been no dates given for rolling out modern pages to publishing, just an old refrain, "its coming". Is it that difficult that it takes 6 months to implement what is already on team sites to publishing sites.
Has Microsoft abandoned publishing sites to invest all their resources in Modern Team sites to support groups?
They are definitely coming, it's on the roadmap. A preview (or mockup) has been presented already on Ignite and Tech summit.
Chances are they will be showcased together two column layouts on the event in May.

- I can't imagine it will be long since the share point framework preview is now out which includes some of the new page design components.
