Modern Site from SharePoint Home & Site Settings page
So the site collection created from SharePoint home with Group integration seems to be a somewhat different animal underneath the hood. Looking at Site Settings for this site collection and I can't see for example Site Collection Admins link - presumably because permissions across the group & site are controlled by Office 365 Group Membership.
Also I tried to change Regional Settings from US to UK and received "Sorry you don't have access to this page". I was able to send myself (Global Admin) a site access request, which I approved. Still no access.
The whole layout of Site Settings is also very different and there are many fewer options. Is this documented anywhere that I can read ?

- Ian MoranSteel ContributorWhere do you see these settings in a group ?
- Press either the Files or the Site Group tab on the Group and then click the gear on the top navigation bar and click Site settings
- Ian MoranSteel ContributorSo that's the modern site settings as I'm describing. Very different from what we have been seeing up until now.
- Indeed is the same settings page you can see in an Office 365 Group :-) so not so surprising at all
