Modern OOTB Embed Web Part loses embed code periodically

Question

I have been experiencing random occurrences where an embed webpart will lose the embed code that was previously set on the page. I have seen this happen multiple times with the OOTB embed webpart and also the OOTB youtube and o365 video web parts. When this happens I have to edit the webpart and paste the embed code back into the web part properties again.

Does anyone know if this is a known issue or has anyone else seen this occur?

I have not experience this one myself and I have used quite a few times the Embed WebPart

Happens to me all the time. We are just building a new intranet so I have been editing the homepage alot. It happened 3 times to me today with an embed webpart that we have that shows a google map. I'll try to figure out the steps to reproduce.

No we didn’t find a solution, but We haven’t had reports for a while that this is happening anymore. I think it happens when you change to edit mode and then publish really quickly before the page loads.
