Modern Document Library Webpart does not filter view
Hi
I have added the OOTB modern Document library webpart to a SharePoint Online page. I can click on the down arrow next to a column name and then click on "Filter By" the filter dialog appears, I click on a value and then click on "Apply" . The filter dialog disappears, but the view itself does not get filtered.
What am I doing wrong ?

I've run out of ideas. As this is working normally for other users, I would open a support ticket with MS

I'm finding that there's currently a bug on modern SPO pages where if you add a Document Library web part and apply a view, if you edit the page again it forgets the view and reverts to displaying the full documents library. You then have to delete the web part and re-create it, you can't just re-apply the view. This seems to have been a problem that's been around off and on for a year or so. Irritating and hopefully Microsoft will fix it shortly.
I'm having the same issue and this is one of the first things I've tried. Though the filter does apply, when the page is refreshed, the webpart goes back to showing all items ):
I found a workaround for this issue, using the embed webpart using the below worked for me.

Just change the respective details for your document library.
- Hi, I was wondering if this issue was ever addressed for you - I am facing the same problem but with the list preview part. Each page has a list with filtered view but shows all items; when I check settings, the filtered is apparently still applied. Tried deleting and re-adding webparts with filters and worked initially only to revert back to an all items view.
This is not normal. Try using the Filter icon on the right, and tell us what happens.
What filter icon ? - See uploaded file.
If I add document library web part to a modern UI Page - I don't get the filter icon ?
