Modern Document Library Webpart - can't view non Office docs such as PDF, JPG, or TXT!
The newly released Modern Document Library Webpart does not allow non-Office documents to be viewed when clicked. Word, PowerPoint, and Excel files in the same library open fine, but PDFs, JPGs, and TXT files do nothing when their link is clicked! There is no error message, blank page, or anything indicating something is wrong. Just no response.
Note this is on a modern site/page using the Document Library Webpart. All files stored in the Modern Document Library open fine when accessed directly from the library.
Is anyone else experiencing this?

MiceileWhere is this fix? I am not able to filter, search, etc. metadata tags in the new experience or the old, which is recent. Any updates on this issue?
Hi, we are experiencing the same problem. We can open the files via download or the search bar, but this is very annoying and unsettling for a lot of my users.
