Mismatching storage limits
We have a Microsoft 365 tenancy with several sharepoint sites, but the sharepoint admin pages don't agree on how much storage capacity we have access to.
Storage Metrics says that our Site Collections have 25,600GB of available space. The properties pages for our sharepoint sites says we have a 25TB storage limit in the General tab. Both numbers are near enough as makes no difference.
But the Active Sites page says that we have a limit of 4.75 TB for all our sites.
Does anyone know why the Active Sites page is so starkly under reporting our actual storage limit? Or have any suggestions how to rectify this?

The storage discrepancy happens because the Active Sites page shows your tenant’s actual provisioned SharePoint storage based on licenses and purchased add-ons (e.g., 4.75 TB), while the 25 TB figure on Site Collections or Storage Metrics reflects theoretical or maximum limits. This mismatch can also be due to delayed data syncing or reporting inconsistencies across admin portals. To clarify, check your subscription and storage allocation in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, use PowerShell for accurate stats, and wait 24–48 hours for updates to propagate.

Verify storage limit settings in the SharePoint Administration Center to ensure that site collections (set using Set-SPOSite -Identity <SiteURL> -StorageQuota <SizeInMB>) are consistent with tenant-level policies (viewed using Get-SPOTenantStorageEntity).
