Migrate videos from sharepoint document library to MS Stream

We have many videos on sharepoint document libraries, and we want to move them to be inside MS Stream? so is there a way to migrate the videos from sharepoint to MS Stream ? without having to download them from sharepoint and then re-upload them inside MS Stream?

    Unfortunately there is not a way to automate this since Microsoft does not provide at the moment APIs to work with Stream. So the only option is to manually download the videos and upload them...by the way, this effort might be not worth since Microsoft is currently working on Stream 2.0 that will be built on top of SPO

        What I mean is that taking into account Stream 2.0 is based on SPO, you should evaluate if it's worth to the videos from your SharePoint Libraries to current Stream or just wait some months until the new Stream arrives
