Migrate videos from sharepoint document library to MS Stream

but i did not get what do you exactly mean by "this effort might be not worth since Microsoft is currently working on Stream 2.0 that will be built on top of SPO" ??? which effort you are referring to exactly?

What I mean is that taking into account Stream 2.0 is based on SPO, you should evaluate if it's worth to the videos from your SharePoint Libraries to current Stream or just wait some months until the new Stream arrives
