Microsoft Lists / SharePoint - Content Type

Hi specialists! 
I have started to investigate taxonomy and content types recently.

I would like to create a MS List in which user can select several occurences amongst a list of aprox. 80 countries.

Any idea and advise to set this list up?

    for me it's not really clear, what your usecase is.

    You want to create an country item and an country can have more than one occurences?

     

    Please explain for more help 🙂
