JSmitty595 SharePoint has always been very bad at preventing overlapping calendar entries and preventing clashes. Although it's not the answer you want to hear Power Apps is the best solution. I built a desk booking system for my company in Power Apps with a SharePoint list as the backend that ran for about 3 years and did prevent such clashes.
