Make dropdowns open automatically

Hello,

I have a few dropdown menus on my SharePoint page which are closed by default and I have a few buttons referencing on the dropdown menus via quicklinks. 
Now I don't want to have every dropdown section open by default as that would be overwhelming, but is there a way to let them open up individually when I click on the respective button?
Right now it only takes me there to a closed dropdown section which isn't really an optimal user experience.
