Locking the Default view
I don't know how this keeps happening but everytime I change the default view for a directory it keeps changing to something else. It's driving me mad and it's confusing our users.
As the admin, I need to be able to create a view, save it as default, and prevent anyone from changing it. I would love others to create their own views and to make them public - I just need the default view to remain locked.

Completely agree and can't understand why this isn't a feature at this point with shared spreadsheets. Microsoft if you are listening, make it possible to lock a default view for a shared spreadsheet.

it's not possible to lock the default view, but user can create their own. You can't give permissions on views.
