List users membership of SharePoint groups

I'm probably missing something that is blindingly obvious, but how to I list all the SharePoint security groups that a user is a member of?  Trying to ensure that we are correctly dealing with the situation where someone moves role, and we can be confident that we have correctly removed access when we should do.
