List pills now showing in the list web part, Expected behavior or bug?
- Oct 14, 2024
So, I got through to Microsoft at they confirmed it is a bug. The filters are not supposed to show up in a list web part
Hanne_Lauritzen In our tenant i see the filter pills when i filter.
Are both tenants on the same update sequence (monthly enterprise, anual or current) Not the 365 apps setting but the organisation setting in the tenant.

The screenshot were the filter aren't showing is from my own domain. I am on "targeted release" and "as soon as they're ready". I would have to check up on the settings for my clients, but they're definitely not on targeted release, so I am a bit confused that they are now seeing something, that I don't.
But then again, the whole enrollment of the modern lists seems random, at best, so just hoping for some insight as to which one is by design, moving forward.- Daan_NOct 08, 2024Brass ContributorSeeing different functionality in a tenant is a problem that i had to deal with multiple times. Two times during giving a course, the course members saw new functionality, and i did not see it.
It could be a bug due a last release on your own tenant (target release tenant). We are not on target release, so that could explain that i see the same as your client.- Hanne_LauritzenOct 08, 2024Iron ContributorYup. It is always fun to investigate these things. I also have client tenants, where I do not see the filters and they're on Standard release. So in this case I really can't figure out if it's intended or not. I don't mind seeing different things across domains, I am certainly use to that.
My issue right now is that this will impact current projects in development, so I've had to put things on standby, unfortunately.
Maybe I'll try creating a support ticket, I don't really know what channels are best to use for these types of questions(?)
