List elements are not saved
Hello,
I noticed strange behavior in one of my SharePoint lists.
If I create a new list element in the browser (regardless of whether I use Edge or Chrome), it is displayed to me, but obviously not saved. The typical 3 small dashes for a new element do not appear on this element.
When I open the list on the smartphone, the newly created element is also not available.
Otherwise everything works. So if I create an element on the smartphone, it will appear in the list on the PC a short moment later.
I also notice the same behavior when I create new elements in the browser in the grid view on the PC. These are then also displayed, so everything would fit, but in fact they are not stored on the server.
Does anyone know these problems or is it possibly a bug that is currently occurring?
Update: It seems to have something to do with cookie or something. When I open the list in the browser's incognito mode, everything works as it should.

moritz0815 Seems like classic old issue with SharePoint related to browser cache and cookies.
I will suggest you to clear browser cache and cookies (for "all time") and then re-login to your SharePoint site.

- moritz0815Copper ContributorMany thanks for your response. Clearing the cache works. I knew that even before I wrote the post. However, clearing the cache every time is not a permanent solution. Especially not for users who are able to edit a SharePoint list but are otherwise not the most technically savvy.
