Last Approved Documents View in Document Library
Hi,
I have a document library with Content Approval enabled in it. What I want is, a view which can show all the approved documents with link to open the approved version only.
So for e.g. if a document 1 latest version is 1.1 and document 2 latest version is 2.0 in a library, then this view should show me the document 1 with version 1.0 (with link https://siteurl/_vti_history/512/doclibname/filename to open 1.0 version of the document) and document 2 (with actual link to open the doc).
Please let me know if this is possible or not without writing any code or workflows. Thank you.

Hi Prashant,
You can always restrict views to draft for Readers by using Library settings and Versioning. This way they will always see the published version. I suppose I am missing some other requirement that you are looking at.
Thanks,
Asish
- Seem Pages link too but I think I have been there for some time (I'm on First Release)
- 100 % sure that you need to write some code to achieve this

Its pity that these basic requirements are not fulfilled by SP in ECM space being there in the industry since ages. Probably I can raise the user voice for this. Thanks for your response.
