Issue with the approval mails to sharing recipients
Hello, I know about the current changes of the email notifications in SharePoint and OneDrive. We have now an issue with sharing notifications in OneDrive.
If an employee shares a file from the OneDrive of a colleagues an approval from the owner is required. All the email notifications are fine, except the last notification for the recipient.
After the owner approves the request, recipients will receive a confirmation email.
In the current situation all recipients receive no mail after the approval. All of our users have the issue. Is there a known issue with the approval mails?

From Microsoft I got the feedback it's really an unexpected behavior with the default OneDrive sharing configuration for tenants in the normal release mode. As they rollout the new sharing experience for all tenants in the next few weeks MS will not solve the current state.
The new sharing expierence does not use the approval option. The owner has to react after the sharing (the file is shared immediately and the recipient gets a notification), compared to the approval mode in the current release.
