Is there a way to prevent access to Sharepoint settings?

To expand on the previous answer by jcgonzalezmartin, while a user can see that menu item, when they click on it, they will only be able to change setting if they have permission to. A typical user with the Edit permission level, will not be able to make many changes, users with the Design or Full Control level will see more options

Thank you for the answer, Dean. Unfortunately, a user with Edit permission still has access to Site Content. Thanks!

- Jan 29, 2018Not sure if I'm following you here...you first started talking about the Site Settings and now about the Site Contents...by the way, you cannot hide this options in SPO

Hi Juan,
The subject of the post calls for the Sharepoint Settings. You are getting yourself confused I guess.
If you see the first screenshot that I have uploaded, you will notice what I am talking about. Basically, I was wondering to hide all those Sharepoint settings.
Thanks for your reply though since you said that is not possible.
